Location Exploration Location 1: The first location is in a local field. I like this location as it involves a lot of natural light. Therefore different subjects will be lit well. However I don't think this location would fit with the theme of my music magazine as I am aiming for an alternative style. Another thing I like about this location is the bright colours featured in the background. I think bright colours are attract and audience, However they are not suitable for this genre. Additionally these location would contrast greatly with the props I intend to use. This may make the magazine look unplanned and messy. Furthermore the background is very busy and would make the editing process difficult. Location 2: The second location is in the music studio at school. Props For my music magazine I plan to use props such as : Guitar Amps I chose these props as I think they fit with the alternative theme I want for my music magazine. My music magazine is aimed at an audience of 15-18 year olds. By having these props I think that it will make my front cover more eye-catching and more interesting to my target audience. Additionally by involving props it allows me to create unique shots with different poses based with and around the props. However props may make editing hard, I plan to do little editing for my front cover. Additionally by using props it helps readers identify what style of magazine my article is. Models I decided to contact my model through facebook messenger. The screenshot below shows concent from the model.  My final model is: Callum Flanagan- This model is a sixteen year old music student who has a passion for the alternative music industry. My model also is a musician and plays guitar, This is helpful as it means my model will look more natural with the prop as they have a musical background. I chose this model as he is a musician, Therefore I will be able to include props such as guitars. This will effectively make my front cover look more interesting and appealing.
