This contents page features a mid shot photo placed at the side of the page, this gives the reader an idea what might be inside the magazine. It also helps tie the different topics together as well as providing a visual insight for the reader. Located at the side are different section in the magazine as well as page numbers. This is effective as it is easy to understand for the reader. As well as providing extra information due to the small amount of text underneath each heading. Important parts of information are put in larger text with a page number in a different colour from the rest of the text. To encourage the reader to read more a advertisement box has been placed at the bottom. This is a good idea as the contents page is one of the first pages seen by the reader. Overall the colour scheme is simple with odd bursts of colour to indicate important information. By doing this the magazine is easy to read yet still fun and eye catching. This is clearly a rock or alternative magazine as the colours are dark which relates to this genre. In my magazine i may use the idea of different categories to provide information to the reader. 






 This contents page features more than one picture each taken using different angles. At the top left hand side a red box indicates that it is the contents page and next too that are two pictures that indicate information on a certain page.  On the right hand side headings and page numbers can be found. Each page number is in big red writing, this is good as it stands out and is easily read. By using different pictures it makes the page easier to understand as some people don't like to reads lots of text, so by having this it is easily understood. I also think the different pictures adds dynamics to the magazine. The colour scheme is very simple, all the colours compliment each other yet still stand out. This magazine contents page seems unique compared to others due to the layout of the page. By having things in a different order it makes the magazine more appealing and unique. Overall the look of the page suggests that it is aimed at teenagers as the colours are not childish but the there is no massive amounts of text which is expected in a magazine aimed at a older group. This magazine is clearly an alternative magazine due to the images used and the colour scheme. In my magazine i may choose to use the idea of using more than one image. 

This contents page doesn't feature a main subject/image. Instead it has a diagram with a few other pictures. At the top of the page a main heading can be seen. This title is unique as unlike other magazines this title says something different. The bright pink banner makes the page stand out and eye-catching. Box's placed around the page emphasis the important information that is easily seen by the reader. The diagram at the top showing the front of the magazine makes the brand unique. It also shows that it is aimed at the younger readers who may not know where to view certain information. The image at the bottom provides extra detail on what will be featured inside the magazine. As well as certain lines being highlighted. The highlighting may relate to how information is made to stand out as school, Therefore it relates to a younger audience. Overall the colours are bright and fun. Each of the colours stand out without it looking to messy and busy. The genre of this magazine is clearly a pop magazine as the information is easy to use, it also features information aimed at young people.
